We are here to support you in achieving lasting change and self-sufficiency.
The Roadmap
Is this your first time in therapy? It’s totally normal to feel overwhelmed when thinking about getting professional help. The truth is, your healing journey starts the moment you even begin to think about it—and by being here, you’ve already made that first move. Below, you’ll find the steps of the healing process. Just remember, this is a slow and steady journey that you and your therapist will walk together, with care and patience, every step of the way
-
The consultation call is a short 15-minute call to ask service-specific questions before committing to therapy.
The intake session involves getting to know the therapist, discussing concerns, and clarifying therapy goals. The therapist may conduct an assessment to understand your history and needs.
-
You and your therapist build rapport, and the therapist provides initial insights and coping strategies. The client begins to explore issues in a safe environment.
-
Over the next several sessions, you and your therapist will explore your challenges and start working on them. You’ll learn new ways to cope, think, and handle what life throws at you.
-
As you go through therapy, you’ll notice things starting to change. You might feel less stressed, have better relationships, or manage tough situations more easily. You and your therapist will check in on how things are going. Adjustments to the treatment plan may be made if necessary.
-
Once you’ve made good progress, you’ll talk about wrapping up therapy. This doesn’t mean things are perfect, but you’ll feel more confident handling life on your own.
When you’re ready, you’ll have your last session. You’ll leave with tools and strategies to keep using in your everyday life. You can always come back for a check-in if you need it later.
Why Telehealth?
Increased Comfort and Privacy
Many people feel more at ease opening up in their own familiar environment. Virtual therapy offers a safe, private space where you can talk freely without the worry of being seen or overheard in a public setting.
Access to the Right Therapist
Virtual therapy expands your options beyond local providers, allowing you to connect with the therapist who is the best fit for your needs, regardless of location. This is especially helpful if you live in a remote area or have limited in-person options.
Convenience and Flexibility
Virtual therapy allows you to attend sessions from the comfort of your own home, eliminating the need for travel. It offers flexible scheduling, making it easier to fit therapy into your busy life.
